Term 1
Welcome to 2026
Our aim, as Head Students for 2026 is to grow our leadership skills, be role models for others and to give back and raise funds for charities in our community
Welcome to Week 4. We were super proud of the Year 5 – 8 tamariki who competed in the Swimming Sports this morning at Dudley. Congratulations to those who have qualified for Rakahuri. We hope that all Year 5 – 8 tamariki try their very best this afternoon when we have some fun activities in our school pool.
Today we are planning our Easter raffle fundraiser. We are raising funds for our Learning Spaces.
Welcome to Week 6. A huge thank you to Mitre 10 for gifting $150 vouchers for our Easter Raffle.
We are really excited about the Easter Raffle. We are hoping to sell lots of tickets!
Today we created 7 Easter Baskets for our Easter raffle. We are hoping to raise money for Literacy and Math resources.
We are busy organising our End of Term assembly this week. It is always great to celebrate tamariki who add extra to their 3 Kete.

We are super excited about this term. We have heaps of ideas about how we can make a difference. Watch this space!
Next week we are supporting Pink Shirt day. We will be making a display about KINDNESS.
Welcome to Kindness Week here at Southbrook. We are looking forward to hearing heaps of KIND words and seeing heaps of KIND actions from everybody.
At the moment we are planning for our fundraiser for Radio Lollipop. We will be selling chocolate lollipos!
